You will probably find Daniel if you enter the office or the store. He is new in the retail industry, but loves spending his spare time outdoors, both summer and winter.
Julie Keyser
Store Manager
Julie decided to make the move to Svalbard in 2018. She’s originally from Oslo and has always been enthusiastic about the outdoors. It was Svalbard’s epic nature and endless possibilities which were the main reasons for staying. Julie is an active hiker and you’ll often find her on the mountain tops surrounding Longyearbyen. She paddles, skis, and is now a novice dogsledder. She always has a big smile on her face!
Niklas Wikstrand
Sales Assistant
Niklas moved up to Svalbard in 2013 and have studied and worked as an Arctic Nature Guide since. Now, he works both as a nature guide and at Arctica. He finds life most complete being outdoors during winter on a sled with sled dogs.
Julie Gunleksen Solli

Julie is a happy and helpful girl, who will always greet you with a smile when you see her. She started to work at Arctica early 2023, when she wanted move away from the mainland to seek new challenges.
On her spare time she’s always busy out looking for new adventures. Either short excursions or longer trips. She has as many before her, been hooked by the raw nature of Svalbard.
